Fishing for Kids – Charity Event A Success In 2012…..Again
Posted on 25.09.2013
For the past 4 years, Darby Kreitz of Allnorth has had the pleasure of being part of a charity called Fishing For Kids. This year Darby was accompanied by Craig Smith from Allnorth’s Kamloops office on the trip from the 26th to the 29th of August for the Fishing Derby which was held at the West Coast Fishing Club on Langara Island. Not a bad spot!
The Vision and Mission for the charity are as follows:
Vision
Fishing for Kids Tournament enhances the lives of the children and their families in our community, through charitable giving.
Mission
Bringing together industry and community leaders to inspire and encourage charitable giving.
Darby has been truly fortunate to be a committee member and has been very pleased to represent both his family as well as Allnorth for the past 4 years.
What an event, which was a result of the people and their collective ability to generate a very large donation to The Canucks Autism Network (CAN), the chosen charity. For anyone who knows anything about Autism, they know the level of impact it has on the fabric of families who have a sibling or child. It’s a significant challenge and the impacts are far reaching.
Allnorth is very pleased to note that we made a significant donation and were a major part of the $1,000,000 raised in this year’s event. Truly amazing.
