Our vision is to be a great company that engages, empowers, and enriches people’s lives. We intentionally focus on creating a positive and fulfilling experience for our team and clients.

We go beyond providing smart solutions and service to our clients.  Our desire is to meaningfully impact the well-being and satisfaction of everyone we interact with. By prioritizing engagement, empowerment, and enrichment, we aim to create a positive and rewarding environment for our team, fostering their personal and professional growth. Simultaneously, we seek to enhance the lives of our clients through innovative solutions, exceptional service, and other means that provide value and contribute to their well-being.

We recognize the relationship between having a smart, motivated, engaged team and delighting our clients – they both must occur simultaneously.  We want to delight clients with our practical solutions and be enjoyable to work with along the way.  By embracing a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation, our team creates smart solutions that have a positive impact. Whether interacting directly with clients or supporting colleagues who do, everyone on our team can prioritize the needs and well-being of our clients.  By continuously improving their skills, knowledge, and mindset, our team members contribute to their own enrichment and become better equipped to engage and empower others.

By embodying these principles and actively contributing within their roles, each team member plays a vital part in achieving the vision of engaging, empowering, and enriching lives. It is through collective effort and a shared commitment to these principles that the company can create a positive and rewarding environment for all stakeholders.

Our Company

Core Principles

Allnorth is a company that does not measure success solely by the financial bottom line.  As an engaging company, we are also committed to achieving our success through collaboration with our Team and our Clients.

Team, Clients and Profitability are segments which together form our commitment to our Triple Bottom Line (TBL) approach to leading Allnorth.  We believe our TBL bonds our Team to our Clients in a manner that drives our Profitability.  One cannot exist without the other.

Within each segment of the TBL, we identify three strategic imperatives; these are the essential areas that we focus on to succeed and deliver.

Taken together, these areas comprise our Strategic Framework, which will ultimately help determine and prioritize the specific activities at Allnorth.

Looking Out For Each Other

Safety in Everything We Do

At Allnorth, we believe our organization’s best resource are our Team Members. To ensure the health and well-being of our team, we have established the guiding principle of “Safety in Everything We Do”. This philosophy forms the foundation for our Team Members and practices, supporting how we make decisions for our business.

Providing a safe and healthy workplace for our team is paramount, and we expect that all Team Members contribute to and cultivate this culture. In return, our team will demonstrate our strong commitment to safety, with our clients and each other.

Our leadership team is dedicated to a safety culture that illustrates continued improvement day over day. We have established policies, procedures and training that instills our Team Members with the awareness, ability and goal of upholding our unwavering dedication to safety standards.

In Our Heart

Community

At Allnorth we believe in building and maintaining mutually respectful relationships with all stakeholders in the communities where we operate. This means we ensure quality community relations because the dignity and well-being of those we impact are of prime importance to us.

At the heart of what we do is the desire to improve the lives of our clients and the communities in which they live. We are mindful of the social, economic and environmental impacts of our operations so we can continually improve, build upon successes and exceed our clients’ expectations. The viability and sustainability of the communities our clients call ‘home’ forms the foundation for how we approach all of our initiatives.

Embracing History

Indigenous Relationships

Allnorth is committed to developing strong, sustainable relationships with Indigenous communities. We strive to ensure timely engagement and to develop a thorough understanding and respect of the rights, culture, values and aspirations of all Indigenous communities.

Allnorth has a long and trusted history of working with Indigenous communities across Canada. Our work is guided by the principles of mutual respect and inclusion. This approach generates a beneficial balance of historical experience and traditional knowledge with modern science, and an understanding of ecosystems to create effective solutions. By collaborating with Indigenous communities, we are able to source potential new team members and produce goods and services that are available locally, thereby, generating a positive impact on Indigenous communities.

Truth and Reconciliation

We recognize and observe the tragic legacy of residential schools in Canada as this was one of the 94 Calls to Action in the Truth and Reconciliation report released in 2015. In this light we ask people to take time to personally reflect, educate, and participate in activities that raise awareness.

In 2021 we created a learning module for our team that we now share with you here. Please take the time to understand the importance of September 30.

Protecting the Land

Environment

Allnorth recognizes environmental stewardship as one of our guiding principles and while sustainable development is key to sound business performance, respecting the environment is more than a business practice to us.

Protecting the environment defines our approach to sustainability and we are committed to providing our clients with quality service that minimizes potential negative impact to the environment. The Allnorth promise is to operate in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and use the principles of sustainability and environmental best practices in all that we do.

We will:

  • Integrate the consideration of environmental concerns and impacts into all of our decision making and activities.
  • Promote environmental awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Reduce waste through re-use and recycling and by purchasing recycled, recyclable, or refurbished products and materials if these alternatives are available, economical and suitable.
  • Promote efficient use of energy, materials, and resources throughout our operations.
  • Minimize unnecessary use of hazardous materials and products, seek substitutions when feasible, and take all reasonable steps to protect human health and the environment when such materials must be used, stored, and disposed of.
  • Where possible, purchase and use environmentally responsible products that have been selected based on criteria including reduced energy and/or water consumption, low toxicity or environmental hazard, durability, use of recycled materials, and ability to be recycled, refilled or refurbished at end of life.
  • Where required by legislation or where significant health, safety or environmental hazards exist, develop and maintain appropriate emergency, spill response, and environmental management plans.
  • Strive to continually improve our environmental performance by periodically reviewing our environmental policy in light of our current and planned future activities.
BR BAUEN

Re-envisioning Our Brand Identity

Allnorth worked with an innovative design house, BR BAUEN, to refresh its original brand identity. Central to BR BAUEN’s inspiration for the design of the new logo was the idea of the compass. Symbolizing the union between the client and Allnorth, the arrow represents the first initial of the company name, as well as indicating the direction north. The resulting design is “extreme simplicity”, reflective of being “clean and uncomplicated” versus “disordered and messy”.

BR BAUEN has been recognized for this design by Behance (main gallery highlight) and by the 10th Brazilian Biennial of Graphic Design.
