Allnorth Virtual Teams – Response to COVID-19

Allnorth has a strong and supportive response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As we are all acutely aware, the ever evolving situation we are in requires swift action, tested solutions, and confidence to navigate through.
For the past 25 years Allnorth has managed the company using a triple bottom line philosophy, which includes our team, clients, and profitability. We are actively managing all three with a clear priority on keeping our team safe while enabling them to serve our clients at the level to which they have come to expect and in an efficient manner.
To this end we are supporting social distancing by asking team members who are able to effectively work from home to do so. We are also asking that all meetings with clients be held using telephone, Microsoft Teams, Skype and other online conference applications. We have long employed tools, systems and processes to enable remote work. Right now this capability really supports us in our ability to do our part in “flattening the curve”. We are pleased to report that we have over 300 people using our in-house remote system and currently, to quote our IS leader, “we are not breaking a sweat” with critical things like backups being completed as expected.
With respect to travel, the following is our current stance:
- All company, non-essential domestic travel is suspended.
- Rotational travel for site work is considered essential travel and will continue until otherwise advised by either Allnorth and/or our clients.
- All company international travel is suspended.
We will continue to monitor government related recommendations closely and keep you, our clients and partners, informed of our position as we work towards normalcy. We are in it together, now more than ever.
