Engineering A Cure – Allnorth and Relay For Life
Posted on 25.09.2013
The ALLNORTH Allstars in Prince George, British Columbia raised over $19,000 this year and were the top overall fundraisers at the Prince George Relay for Life, and really did a spectacular job. At $19,000 we are more than $6,000 higher than our total last year! Gina Martin was the top individual fundraiser this year for our team, raising $2,000. Our clicker rang up a total of 1,390 laps, which is 556 km. We had over 50 employees come down to the track for parts of the weekend, and at least another 50 friends and family members who joined us as well.
The ALLNORTH team is such a great example of working together to achieve amazing things. With a goal of $10,000 to be raised, we nearly doubled it, and that couldn’t have been done without everyone getting behind the events, and really dedicating some energy to this cause.
Our lunches, bake sales, and silent auction were supported like never before. The number of donations that just kept pouring in was awe-inspiring, and the positive energy created in reaction to such an important cause was terrific. The Garden Gnome fundraiser raised $2,100 towards the Relay for Life. Their costumes were entertaining while they served us burgers and watching them swim in the pond was enjoyment for all. Thank you again to Jason McCannon and Pat Bredin for helping support such a wonderful cause.
The Grande Prairie, Alberta Allnorth Allstars raised $1,570.00 for the Relay for Life held on Friday, June 10, 2011 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. A big thank you to Megan, Irene & Tom for pulling the event together!
