In 2008, Taseko Mines Limited engaged Allnorth as part of a team to undertake a feasibility study on the Prosperity Mine. Allnorth worked with the Taseko team to prepare a NI 43-101 compliant technical report for the 70,000 tons per day copper-gold mine near Williams Lake, BC.
Allnorth’s responsibilities included the design of the process plant, camp facilities, and crushing, stockpiling and conveying systems. As part of the design effort Allnorth also designed a nine-bay truck shop with light vehicle shop, heated and cold storage warehouse and a separate wash bay.
Allnorth also prepared capital cost estimates for all areas of responsibility and wrote the report narratives for the appropriate report sections in the technical report.
In 2010, Taseko Mines once again engaged Allnorth to be part of a team to prepare a gap analysis report, updating the CAPEX (capital cost estimate) and designs to incorporate any changes that had occurred since the last report.
