Allnorth’s Role and Comprehensive Services
On these projects, Allnorth’s dedicated team of experienced professionals was responsible for preliminary design, preparation of general arrangement plans, detailed design and issued for construction (IFC) drawings. They provided technical support during construction, including review of shop drawings, preparation of Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s), Requests for Information (RFI’s), and development of lift and erection procedures to ensure safe installation of components while working around the pipelines.
They carried out construction survey layouts to accurately determine and mark positions, elevations, and alignments of various elements such as piles, pile cut-offs, capbeams, girders and bridgerails.
During pile driving, our team was responsible for closely monitoring the installation of piles. They prepared pile driving logs to document the details and observations made during the pile driving process.
In addition, the team was responsible for quality assurance reviews during construction to ensure activities met the required quality standards and adhered to the project specifications. They prepared daily reports, including progress photos, recorded construction progress and tracked any required field changes.
Another essential component of Allnorth’s responsibilities in the field, included compaction testing of abutment backfill to ensure the fill met specified compaction requirements.
Throughout these projects, the Allnorth team addressed and coordinated RFI’s, clarifications and required field changes.
As part of the close-out stage, the Engineer of Record assigned to a specific project, prepared a final details report, structure certification and record drawings providing the client with comprehensive documentation of the completed project.
