Canfor Pulp LP Northwood Division required an improved sludge dewatering system to decrease the amount of sludge carried over to the aerated stabilization basins and also to reduce operating and maintenance costs.
The project involved installing a new Andritz gravity table and screw press, including a new sludge dewatering building, auxiliary equipment, process and service piping, and all electrical and instrumentation, and DCS/PLC equipment.
Allnorth’s scope of work also included project management, equipment procurement and generation of contractor bid packages.
