Allnorth was engaged by Pretivm Resources to review and update the access road section of a feasibility study. Allnorth prepared cost estimates and a report on road improvements.
As a result of this report, Allnorth was asked to provide detailed design for multiple upgrades plus procurement services, environmental monitoring, project and construction management of the upgrades.
As part of the design Allnorth developed a webmap to manage the various pieces of information, providing a source of information on the road that could be securely accessed from anywhere.
Allnorth was also engaged to provide quality assurance (QA) services to Pretivm for the bulk excavation, in preparation for the main construction of the mine and mill in 2016. Highlights included transitioning on and off a glacier and re-routing multiple sections of road to increase safety.
