Tom Baumgartner joins Allnorth as our Senior Transportation Group Lead

Allnorth is pleased to announce that Tom Baumgartner has joined Allnorth as our Senior Transportation Group Lead. Tom is a transportation engineer with over 11 years’ experience and formerly led WATT Consulting Group’s Okanagan office. He received his Master of Science specializing in Transportation Engineering from the University of Manitoba in 2011.
Tom’s focus has been on developing multi-modal transportation engineering solutions to ensure safe and efficient mobility for all travel modes. His previous projects have included traffic operations and road safety reviews, cycle track and transit exchange designs, master transportation planning, and traffic calming. Tom also has extensive experience developing traffic management plans for contractors for both municipal and highway construction projects.
Tom is an active member of the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers as President of the local BC Interior Section. He also sits on several Transportation Association of Canada committees, including Past Chair of the Joint Active Transportation Subcommittee and an appointee to the Traffic Operations and Management Standing Committee.
Tom will be responsible for strengthening and growing Allnorth’s transportation engineering capabilities across Canada, and will be based out of Allnorth’s Kelowna office.
On a personal note, Tom is a father of two boys (ages 3 and 5) and enjoys back country adventures and barbequing.
