The Jansen Project is located 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Allnorth has been providing the BHP Billiton with continuous onsite technical field services at this site since September 2011. Our level of involvement started out as quality assurance survey services and our services have continued to evolve and grow as the project has progressed.
In the summer of 2015, Allnorth completed a 3D scan of the mine site for a topographic verification survey. The scope of work involved scanning the entire 15 square kilometre mine site and processing the data in the office. The deliverables included full earthworks and facilities CAD drawings plus supplementary information that was added to the site utilities drawings.
In the spring of 2017, Allnorth performed a site wide survey control verification and re-establishment, installing two rail road monuments and a secondary control network.
