The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) engaged  Allnorth for the engineering required to replace two damaged culverts on Highway 16, approximately 25 kilometres west of Fraser Lake, BC. In order to keep the highway open for traffic during this replacement project, Allnorth collaborated with the MOTI and Yellowhead Road and Bridge (YRB) and developed a method utilizing a single-lane temporary bridge crossing which enabled YRB to remove and replace the culvert below.

Allnorth was responsible for site survey, design drawings, engineering support, and the temporary bridge certification package. While the temporary bridge was being installed, Allnorth was required onsite in support of the certification package per MOTI requirements.

Allnorth’s consistent and timely project management approach with detailed communication plans ensured that multiple teams and contractors were effectively coordinated leading to the successful completion of the project on schedule and within budget.
