In 2011 New Gold Inc. (now Artemis Gold), an intermediate gold mining company retained Allnorth to assist with engineering, procurement and construction management services on their Blackwater gold/silver mineral exploration project.
The Blackwater Project is located along the northern flanks of Mt. Davidson in the Nechako Plateau within Cariboo Regional District Area I, approximately 160 kilometres southwest of Prince George and 110 kilometres southwest of Vanderhoof.
The project included 17 kilometres of road construction and upgrade, installation of five bridges, and environmental management and monitoring services.
The structural designs included a new 150 person camp facility, plus a 4,500 sq. ft. recreational facility, snow roof, arctic corridors, fueling station, drill core logging and cutting building, core storage racks, and multiple other buildings.
Allnorth also worked in partnership with other consultants to design and construct a septic field and treatment system, potable water system, power generation and electrical distribution system.
