The Deh Cho Bridge is a 1.1 km long cablestay bridge across a 1.6 km span of the Mackenzie River on Highway 3 near Fort Providence, Northwest Territories.
Ruskin Construction Ltd. was contracted to install the foundation elements for the new truss bridge and subcontracted Allnorth to provide construction engineering services for the design of a work bridge, cofferdams, installation procedures, lift plans, a quality management plan, onsite surveying and onsite quality control inspections.
The Deh Cho Bridge replaced the summer ferry and the winter ice crossing previously used to cross the river providing a safe, reliable all-weather road, available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
