KSM Mining ULC (KSM) engaged Tahltan-Allnorth for the construction of the 11.9 km Coulter Creek Access Road (CCAR) from Km 54.5 on the Eskay Mine Road towards the Mitchell Valley.
Tahltan-Allnorth worked with Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) and Pelly on this project and was responsible for providing quality control survey and materials testing services. Working with the Pelly construction crew, Tahltan-Allnorth’s field engineers ensured material specified in the contract was produced and placed in accordance with the engineered design. The survey crew was responsible for staking limits of construction and providing quantity verification and month-end volume calculations.
Tahltan-Allnorth also provided a bridge design to replace an existing old rail car structure and Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for this project.
