Canadian Forest Products Ltd. (Canfor) engaged Allnorth to provide support for the installation of a 2,130mm corrugated steel structural plate, open bottom culvert. The project was located approximately 21 kilometres north of Takla Landing, BC along the Driftwood Forest Service Road.
The site plan and fabrication drawings were designed by others, however, Allnorth was responsible for construction monitoring and compaction testing to ensure the structure was installed per the design and in support of the culvert certification package.
Allnorth’s extensive experience working in remote settings ensured our team was prepared for the challenges ahead including lack of cellular service to communicate any issues.
Allnorth was able to effectively coordinate with Canfor and Ubleis Logging, ensuring the resources required was onsite to complete the project on time and within budget.
