Allnorth was retained to provide engineering services for the replacement of the Little Smoky River Bridge, a 64.64 metre two span bridge located at km 5 on the North Tony Road near Fox Creek, AB. Design of the new bridge required accommodating traffic during construction on the existing structure upstream of the new alignment, while being constrained by pipeline right-of-ways on the downstream side.
Allnorth provided bridge design, approach road design, erection engineering, and construction services for this bridge. We worked with client to explore various structure options in order to provide a durable, cost effective solution to meet the client’s needs and timelines. The project was completed on time to accommodate a large permitted overload being delivered into a project site.
