Graham Infrastructure LP – Calgary (Graham) hired Allnorth to provide formwork design services for the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, Alberta. The Allnorth team created detailed formwork design drawings, complete with clear plan and elevation views, to simplify component take-offs and construction processes.
The scope of work encompassed the formwork design for the following concrete elements and structures that are integral to the facility’s operation.
- Clarifier launder slab and wall
- Walkway
- Shoring support
- Suspended slab shoring
- Suspended stairs
- Tent building anchor
- Roof slab shoring
- Temporary pipe crossings
- Diversion wall
Allnorth also completed a pre-pour field review of concrete formwork placement to confirm the formwork was erected in general conformance to the formwork design drawing. Following Allnorth’s inspection and recommendations, the concrete pour could proceed.
