Allnorth was engaged by Graham Infrastructure LP – Calgary (Graham) for the design of a standard aluminum stair ladder for four similar clarifier tanks at the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant in Calgary, Alberta.
Allnorth lead the structural and mechanical engineering design of this project. This involved designing a retractable stairway access and platform, as well as making modifications to the existing platform to accommodate the new stairs.
Our dedicated team of structural and mechanical engineers was responsible for preparing calculations, conducting analyses, creating comprehensive drawing packages, and maintaining communication with the vendor. Additionally, they were tasked with reviewing vendor and fabrication shop drawings as needed.
To ensure the structural integrity of the stairs, our team provided construction support by conducting site visits during the construction phase.
