Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) Scanning
GPR scanning is used to locate and map subsurface utilities, accurately inspect concrete structures, and collect and visualize 3D data. Allnorth offers ground-penetrating radar (GPR) scanning with a selection of antennas and RADAN® 3D data processing software. The 200 MHz antenna allows for low-density scans down to 30 feet (9 m), and the 400 MHz antenna allows for mid-density scans down to 12 feet (4 m); both can be used to identify the location of service utilities, perform road inspections, and conduct geological investigations. Our 1.6 GHz antenna is capable of high-density scans to a depth of 18 inches (0.5 m), to inspect concrete structures, map concrete condition, and measure slab thickness.
