Spill Containment Boom and Reel, Neptune Bulk Terminals
Allnorth provided detailed engineering and design of a 340-metre spill containment boom and storage system for containing and managing a canola oil spill around ships in the event of an emergency. Allnorth also provided construction management services. The challenges faced during the project involved developing a design that allowed the existing ship berthing and loading operations to be integrated with the process of deploying and retracting the spill boom system.
