Screen Room Upgrade, Prince George Pulp and Paper Mill, Canfor Pulp LP
Allnorth provided services to support the capital cost estimate, detail design and construction management required to upgrade the screen room at Canfor's Prince George Pulp and Paper Mill. The old screen room consisted of two separate lines of antiquated Cowan screens. The new screen room employs a single-line modern screen room design and eliminated the old Cowan screens. The new design incorporated a new Metso primary screen; a refurbished Hooper screen as a secondary screen; and an Ingersol-Rand tertiary screen. This project was on a fast-track engineering and construction schedule and was completed without interrupting mill production.
