Pedestrian Bridge Erection Engineering, Calgary Alberta
Allnorth provided construction engineering services for the new Weadick Crossing pedestrian bridge in Calgary, Alberta. The scope of work included design of the cast-in-place deck formwork system for the 46 metre long steel arch pedestrian bridge providing access to the Calgary Stampede Fairgrounds.
Allnorth’s responsibilities included the detailed design of the deck formwork system, the modification details to bridge hanger connections supporting the formwork, and the cable tie-back details providing lateral stability to the formwork system.
