Fairview Container Terminal Phase I, Materials Testing QC Plan, Prince Rupert Port Authority
For construction of Phase 1 of the conversion of this 24-hectare (59-acre) container terminal and port, Allnorth conducted materials testing quality control for the production and placement of aggregates, concrete and asphalts. Allnorth also developed the Quality Control Plan for materials testing.

About this infrastructure project
The Fairview Container Terminal is located in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The terminal is a dedicated intermodal (ship to rail) container terminal, with an operational capacity to move 750,000 TEUs (Twenty foot Equivalent Units) per year. Plans are underway to expand the facility’s capacity to 2 million TEUs.

Allnorth provides on-site and office-based materials testing services that complement our construction management and surveying services. Using mobile testing laboratories, Allnorth’s technicians conduct standard tests for concrete, asphalt, and aggregates and soils.
