Allnorth’s board of directors is responsible for the governance and operations of the company. The board is comprised of industry-leading senior management, finance and operations professionals in all of the sectors that we serve, as well as Allnorth management and professional engineers.
Chairman of the Board
A professional engineer by training, Darby Kreitz has been Allnorth’s Chief Executive Officer since the company’s inception in 1995. Darby’s vision and strategic planning leadership has seen Allnorth grow from a single office in Prince George, British Columbia to multiple offices across Canada and in the United States. He now leads a rapidly expanding, highly committed team of more than 500 people. Darby received the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Pacific Region in the Business-to-Business category, as well as a Canadian citation for, “growth through service excellence”. Darby’s reputation as a visionary leader is recognized in business circles and by government.
O. Kim Goheen has been a member of the Allnorth Board of Directors since January 2013. Kim recently retired as Chief Financial Officer of Cameco - one of the world’s largest uranium producers. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the natural resources sector, and an in-depth knowledge of financial markets. Kim has more than two decades of experience in North American and International capital markets. He has served as a board member for a number of public and privately held companies. Kim is a Certified Management Accountant, with a degree in Commerce from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Craig Smith has 18 years of consulting engineering experience, specializing in structural and civil engineering in the infrastructure, oil and gas, mining and pulp and paper sectors. Craig has held senior management positions at Allnorth for more than a decade. Presently he is the Division Manager for the Kamloops Allnorth office, and prior to that, he successfully started up and managed the Allnorth Grand Prairie office. Craig has worked on projects throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories. He has extensive hands-on surveying, design, project management and on-site construction experience for transportation structures, specializing in bridges. Craig is recognized for delivering exceptional client-centered practical solutions. Craig is a member of the Professional Engineers of BC and Alberta, the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction, and he has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Robert (Bob) Wallis has been a member of the Allnorth Board of Directors since January 2013. Bob is presently the Senior Vice President and Partner of Kal Tire – the largest independent commercial tire dealer in North America, and the largest mining tire dealer globally. Bob is responsible for all aspects of Kal Tire’s mining tire group, which operates in 20 countries across five continents. Prior to Kal Tire, Bob held both operations and finance executive level positions, in several industries, including resource development, technology and consulting engineering. Bob was admitted to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1983. He has a degree in Business and Commerce from the University of Alberta and Bob is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
