2016 Vancouver Sun Run

Team members from Allnorth’s Vancouver and Nanaimo offices participated in the 32nd annual Vancouver Sun Run.

It is estimated that more than 43,000 people participated in the 10 km run hosted by the Vancouver Sun, the largest road race event in Canada.

The mandate of the event is to “promote health, fitness and community spirit while supporting amateur athletics”. A portion of the registration costs has been contributed to the Raise-a-Reader national literacy campaign. Sun Run proceeds also benefit amateur athletic programs such as Achilles International Track and Field Society and The Vancouver Sun Jerome International Track Classic.
