Sulfuric Acid Plant Design

Allnorth was responsible for the design of a Sulfuric Acid Plant at the Tenke Fungurume Cobalt Mine. The project involved structural and foundation detail engineering and design drawings for the new Plant. Design criteria was provided by AkerSolutions in the form of equipment layout drawings and loading information. In addition to conventional AutoCAD detailed construction drawings, a 3-dimensional model of the structural components of the plant (see image below) was one of our project deliverables to the Client.
