The 268-m long continuous multi-span composite bridge over the Muskwa River was erected without the ability to gain equipment access to the high chainage abutment. The superstructure structure was launched from the town end to piers which were constructed in winter conditions to minimize environmental impact. The bridge is a long span continuous composite structure founded on driven steel piles. We subcontracted the geotechnical study to Amec Earth & Environmental and had Urkadda Pacific complete the PDA. All other work was completed in-house.
