The structure is comprised of six 21-m simple spans. The structure selection was based on the ability to transport the spans to the site vs. foundation requirements. Our evaluation matrix depicted the concept provided by the client was far more costly to construct with less service ability than the constructed soluion. Allnorth worked with two local engineering firms for Geotechnical and Quality Management. The project was completed on-time and under budget. During construction our foundation design was required to be altered given the presence of permafrost, which was not noted during the owners' geotechnical investigation.
