Resurfacing was conducted on 8.5km of Old Lakelse Road from Thornhill Creek Bridge to Williams Creek Bridge, as well as a number of selected side roads and intersections in the community of Thornhill. Quality control and testing of aggregates required for the project was as per the BC MoT Highway Construction Standard Specifications. Quality control of hot-mix asphalt and asphalt aggregate during production was achieved with on-site mobile lab facilities as required by the contract specifications and Quality Control Plan.
