Pacific Iron Ore - Environmental Baseline Studies and Effects Assessment

The Bugaboo Creek/Pearson Project is an iron ore deposit located approximately 10 km from Port Renfrew, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island. The Project is operated by Pacific Iron Ore Corporation and is in the exploration phase.
In October 2010, Allnorth began collecting environmental baseline data and initiated studies for water quality, hydrology, and meteorology. Allnorth also constructed a meteorology tower to support the studies. As the mineral exploration program continues, additional environmental baseline studies will be added (e.g., fisheries, wildlife).
The environmental baseline data that Allnorth collects will be used for an Environmental Assessment Certificate (EAC) Application that will eventually be filed with the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office (EAO).
