Wolverine Mine Rail Loadout Design

Allnorth was responsible for providing a solution for the coal loadout for Western Canadian Coal’s Wolverine Mine, through development of an alternative to a previous design concept which would serve the same function but for lower budget cost. The design required the Mainline to be relocated to the siding line so rail traffic could continue. Allnorth provided survey, design, supervision and inspection of approximately 3500m of rail line. The previous mainline was then removed, realigned and an additional track added to provide the loadout facility. Allnorth’s design construction cost was 1/3 of that of the previous design, and we were able to deliver the completed project on time and budget.
