Allnorth was responsible for the Survey & Design of 50 miles of road from Richards on Highway to Teck-Pogo Gold Mine. The road was surveyed using RTKGPS after the pioneer trail was pushed through. The road was then designed in a field office and staked ahead of construction. The mine site was staked for construction using the RTKGPS based on the client's design drawings, and revisions were done in the field office located at the construction camp. The mine site included benches for the mill buildings and mine camp cut into the sides of Liese Creek valley. Allnorth also surveyed and laid out the diversion ditch around the dry stack area and the Recycled Tailings Pond Dam. Allnorth was also responsible for the location of the 50-mile transmission line, including poles and guys.
