Hog Pile Survey Catalyst Paper

Catalyst Paper Port Alberni Division required a monthly survey to determine the volume of their hogpile. The hogpile is located on the client’s property, adjacent to a high-traffic area. Access onto the pile for surveying purposes was not possible due to the continuous truck and loader traffic. By using our 3D scanner we were able to collect the survey data from a safe location adjacent to the pile. Once the data was collected from the site, we processed it in the office. The 3D volume data was then included in the report that is issued to the client.
