Job Summary:
We are aggressively pursuing our vision to be a high-profile full-service consulting
engineering firm providing multidisciplinary services to an array of sectors globally.
To facilitate this, we are seeking to engage a highly capable Survey Group Leader,
for our Prince George Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of a wide variety
of surveys including non-legal boundary surveys, topographic surveys, design surveys,
and construction surveys across a similarly wide variety of project types and conditions.
As the Survey Group Leader you will be responsible for assigning and coordinating
the work of field staff, and ultimately be responsible for the quality control of
all survey works. Some field survey work and office based processing of survey data
may also be required.
Using your considerable organizational, communication and people skills, you will
lead and work with cross discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within
allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards. Mentorship of new
and junior employees is also a key part of this role and our organization.
Education Required:
- Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology
Experience Required:
- Minimum 6 years experience construction surveying work; or related field training
- Excellent communication skills (iExcellent communication skills (interpersonal and
written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined
environment
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail
