Job Summary:
We are aggressively pursuing our vision to be a high-profile full-service consulting engineering firm providing multidisciplinary services to an array of sectors globally. To facilitate this, we are seeking to engage a highly capable Senior Structural Engineer, for our Prince George Office.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the preparation of structural engineering designs and related documents. As the structural lead on large projects, you will complete projects independently, supervising and coordinating the activity of other engineers and project team members. You will continually foster and grow strong relationships with our clients.

Using your considerable organizational, communication and people skills, you will lead and work with cross discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards. Mentorship of new and junior employees is also a key part of this role and our organization.



Education Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with structural concentration
  • Masters degree would be an asset.

Experience Required:
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in heavy structural design, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
  • Experience working with the National and BC Building Codes
  • Technical competence and strong attention to detail
  • Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PEng.) in the province of British Columbia
