Job Summary
Primary duties include coordinating project management activities, including tracking timelines, preparing minutes of meetings, formatting and editing reports and other documents, making meeting arrangements, etc.


The minimum requirements include:
  • Proficient MS office skills, including MS Word and MS Excel,
  • experience with project controls such as MS Project, Outlook (task manager),
  • excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • scheduling, and accounting/budgeting knowledge.


The successful candidate will be conscientious, detail oriented, an excellent communicator, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A strong work ethic, excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and commitment to excellence are qualities that the successful candidate will have previously demonstrated. Experience in an environmental and/or engineering consulting firm, and project management skills are an asset.

Responsibilities will include administrative support involving filing, document preparation, meeting scheduling and other administrative duties. There will also be the opportunity to help with the business development needs including the pricing of new projects; proposal preparation; budget, schedule, and document control for ongoing projects; and direct contact with regulatory agencies and external clients to deliver project reports and communicate project status.


Other responsibilities include:
  • Prepare work load forecast
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Complete project set up
  • Attend project meetings
  • Prepare project documents schedules, charts, etc.
  • Prepare completion estimates
  • Query project financial data
  • Set up and maintain project records
  • Maintain document files/data bases
