Job Summary:
The successful candidate will responsible for supervising and conducting a wide
variety of laboratory and field testing including Quality Control Management, Aggregate
Testing, Soils Testing, Concrete Testing, Asphalt Testing, Quality Control Compaction,
and Quality Control Monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for direction
and training of Junior Technicians in conducting testing and quality control on
all works. The Lab Manager will be able to work independently and not under the
direct supervision of a senior technician, as well as assign and coordinate the work
of field staff and performing and ensuring the Quality Control on works performed.
Education Required:
- Two year civil technician certificate
Experience Required:
- Minimum 6 years experience in materials testing including: Aggregates, Soils, Concretes
and Asphalts;
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to
collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment;
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
